INVERNALIA RENT A CAR

we rented a Brand new 2x4 Renault duster for 30 days to Patagonia, starting in Bariloche headed to Ushuaia we took the atlantic route south via peninsula Valdez and returned up north via torres del pine ( Chile) El Calafate, El Chalten and other magical places along this marvellous land. we completed over 8,000 km of what became for us a Dream journey .

when we first arrived in Buenos Aires i have started researching for a car rental agency in bariloche that can assist with info on what is necessary and is advisable for our journey.

i got onto Invernalia as they have WhatsApp available and i spoke to Manu the owner who's english is good (he lived in NZ for a while ) everything was clarified and explained very smoothly, i told him about our extensive trip and my plans and i added that i enjoy driving cars that seats a bit high on the road.

I asked if i need a 4x4 , to my delight He recommend a 2x4 Duster as it has a higher road clearance compare with sedan, which is great for the numerous gravel roads we took, Manu added that for this time of year being summer 4x4 is unnecessary as it adds to rental costs and hire petrol price.

At the airport he had Bruno waiting for us with brand new Duster , we went to our cabanas late that afternoon and only the following day proceeded to the office to complete the payment and paperwork.

i have never met another rental company that has so much trust and confidence in their customers. at 60 years of age I salute this approach to business and human relationship. this approach to life and the ease of doing business is definitely a winner .

Manu ( owner) also assisted me kindly with other issues i had to resolve at the time. ( truly appreciated)

i highly recommend his Car rental business for best of service and great employees. all was very personal and professional.

Very nice, not expensive and helped us alot when we had a very bad flat tire. Came from bariloche to el bolson to come with a spare tire (for a reasonable price).

 I'm very happy with the service. Carlos was responsive from booking to returning the car. Everything was perfect. We unfortunately had a flat tire, but they reacted very well and only made us pay for the repair of the tire. I highly recommend this agency!

The service was excellent. Carlos was very attentive and responsive and communicated clearly with us at all times. Plus they were the only car rental agency with a selection of infant and kid car seats which, by the way, where in good condition. I highly recommend going with Winterfell.

If you are doing the carretera austral I recommend you take full insurance as you’ll drive through a bunch of dirt roads.
